A sweet academic type by day and a friendly salsa dancer by night. Scratch beneath the sometimes shy exterior and you will find a trusting friend, a flying mind, an open heart and a surprising amount of passion and fun.

I wear my heart on my sleeve, and I am open about my feelings. I do like to know where I stand, so I expect the same in return.

My main hobby is dancing, especially salsa at the moment, but I love ballroom too. However, to hear my main outlet of creative expression, shut me in a room with a piano then secretly listen at the door. 

There are no hard and fast rules, but the most important thing of all is someone friendly and open. Someone who laughs and smiles a lot. Someone who loves discovering new places and new ideas. Someone I can relate to as an equal, and someone who loves me for who I am.

Obviously someone tall and into dancing would be good, and there does have to be chemistry. Tall isn't essential... petite and curvy does it for me too ;-) In fact none of the above is essential - the best things in life are often surprising discoveries! But I guess I really do want it all... the heart, the mind, the companionship, and the wow! factor.
