About me

right. about me. cosy nights in with a glass of wine, walks in the country,- i'm not even going there, because if its not with the right person, then it doesnt mean anything, and if it is the right person, then all of that just goes without saying.

i enjoy life, and dont really have any hang ups. if you dont like me as i am, then thats fine, because i am what i am, and no ones likely to change that!
i am fair, honest, and non judgemental. if i like someone, i like them for what they are, and respect who they are. a pagan at heart, and love the good things in life that most people take for granted. collect beautiful old cobblestones when i'm walking, or visit the coast frequently, love hunting out fossils, shells, and pebbles from the beach.i love animals, and the smell of farmyards and fields. i am happiest in my gardening or diy gear, pottering around, but i do scrub up ok, and, hell!- i even paint my toenails in the summer! i value my friends and family, and beleive you get out of a friendship whatever you are prepared to put into it.

i love travelling, both in the uk and abroad, and enjoy visiting places off the beaten track. i love unspoilt greece, although thats becoming harder and harder to find, as each year goes by. have visited (amongst many places) hong kong, venezuela inc the orinoco delta, many eurpean countries, toured mexico,and spent some time travelling in the eastern bloc beofre the wall came down. many different experiences, but enjoyed them all for different reasons.

i am also into live music, both festivals and concerts, also enjoy the theatre, but have to say i am out of the habit of going recently!

Update March 2008, i have started going to slasa classes, been going for about two months now, and am enjoying it, although a partner would be good!!!

I love animals, have a dog, and just one cat at the moment, but am looking at getting a couple more kittens after my holidays next month!

Nov 2007 - Update! two kittens arrived this morning! busy trying to get them settled in, and not leave the other cat and dog out either, but they're settling in fine, and my home feels even more homely, - if a little chaotic!

I have a 15 year old son who lives with me. hes a great friend, keeps me very young at heart and drags me off to rock festivals and the like, which i enjoy, although sometimes i do feel as if i'll meet myself comming back!! i work in the care industry, and run a scheme that enables people with a learning difficulty to access the community. i enjoy my work, but dont give much to the politics that get in the way!
