I am a reasonably intelligent woman with a very silly sense of humour and an overdeveloped expectation of the world!
My favorite things in life are to curl up with a good book or an excellent film - my dirty little secret is that I adore westerns! Of course a roaring fire, a glass of wine and good conversation in great company are wonderful too when you find them. I live near both mountains and coastline and enjoy walking; there are castles, standing stones and historical sites here too and history interests me a lot.After a hiatus of 25 years I'm attempting to begin horse riding again. 

I would like to find genuine friendly people who share my outlooks and interests. Romance is a distinct possibilty but not an essential - liking someone and enjoying their friendship is just as good. Pushiness is not attractive and consideration (both ways)would always be appreciated.Pressurising & rushing things are definite no no's. Sillyness and a refusal to apologise for ANY likes and tastes are a must.
