It's been an interesting few years but I've finally reached a point where I am happy with life. I'm enjoying the opportunity to finally be me after what seems to be a lifetime of being someone's wife or mother!! (not that I begrudge the second).
I'm intelligent, articulate and from an education background. These days I spend a lot of time travelling around the country as required of my job although when I don't have to travel I work from home. Consequently the work/life balance is more than tolerable.
I love to cook and it seems I have something of a flair for all things food. I've travelled extensively and am looking forward to doing much more in the future.
It would be great to meet someone who has a similar outlook on life. For me the glass is always half full. I'm a strong believer in friendship first. I trust implicitly until I find grounds to withdraw that trust. Sadly there are times when this dating lark ensures that happens over and over again.
The last thing I'm looking for is someone who is so self opinionated that they cannot or will not see another's view point. Intolerance of any sort leaves me cold. I am a strong believer in listening to what someone has to say and in return I expect the same consideration.
It would be great to think that even at this stage in life I could meet the love of my life.
