About me
A new year and an update. I've truly gone beyond the big 50 although I still feel 'fab'. Free and single since my sons fled the nest. I've met some great friends on MSE and the list continues. The meets are great fun and a terrific opportunity to widen one's friends. I love travelling, cooking and meeting new people. I like going to the cinema and the theatre both locally and the West End.
What about me as a person - Well I'm loyal and give 100% to anything I'm involved with whether that be work or relationships. Now 53 but still going on 26 and although shy at first, I like to think that I have a lively upbeat personality.
However that hides my insecurities which continue to be confirmed in oh so many ways.
Home is in Northants, but I spend the week on the Wiltshire/Hampshire border because that is where my work is based. However I also spend a lot of time travelling round the country as required of my job (hope that makes sense). So I'm a bit of a gypsy but I enjoy the variety of work.
About you
Friends first with the desire to hopefully develop a relationship after that. I trust implicitly until I find grounds to withdraw that trust. Sadly there are times when this dating lark ensures that happens over and over again. I get knocked down but I get up again..... as the song goes. I seem to have an inherent attraction to those who eventually let me down with a bump. Is there a knight in shining armour out there who is prepared to handle my heart with kid gloves?
I love to laugh. There's nothing better than a good giggle to keep you feeling on top of the world. And I will keep smiling through the knock backs.
