Meanwhile: I've written books, churned out features for The Independent and Sunday Telegraph: edited the musical chunks of 'Time Out' and worked as a researcher on documentary films - one of which was lucky enough to win Crystal Prize at the Prague Television Festival. Strewth, and an extra portion for the wee Lad at dinner-time. Before then I'd been trained in Psychology, Philosophy, and as a practising visual artist. That's the easy bit.
Who am I really? Very genuine but revelling in fun and play: dreamy, but eager to get something worthwhile done: fundamentally introspective, but with a shrewd public face from my media days: inclined to the blues, but with a bubbling sense of humour. I'm loyal and I strive to be kind. I work as a digital artist and am a published poet but above all I know one thing: the most important thing in this life, beyond riches or fame, is compassion. "Not handsome", said an ex-model ex-partner of mine, "but you can look very cute." So why not give me a bell? I don't bite!
