I'm a country boy at heart growing up in Norfolk but have been based up in the Northeast for the last 12 years. Im in my 30's now but feel a lot younger in body and soul, and don't usually act my age. I've had a steady job for a while working in science after years of being fairly free and seeing a lot of the world. I used to party hard but a lot of my friends are starting to settle down and prefer a nice meal or drinks at home as a social event, so its not so easy to meet new people.
A bit about my interests.. I need my music, its been a big part of my life socially and I still have a lot of friends involved in music in one way or another. I dable in photography as an art medium, but am always learning. I'm also a bit of a petrolhead and in contrast have a big appreciation for wildlife and love being outdoors. Travel is important to me as I need to fill my mind with new sights and experiences to feel satisfied.
I do smoke (I probably should give up but care about my friends too much to put them through that..)and definitely enjoy a drink, especially real ales, good cider and red wine. As I spend all week in a lab or office getting out and about is important to me, I dont like staying in and watching tv every evening - although I do like lazy evenings in with some good company. I've dabbled in growing my own fruit and veg with good success but have decided to give it a break this year due to the time commitment needed to keep them all going.
Family's very improtant to me and I think I'm quite a deep person, although im currently trying to take a life a bit more as it comes, not planning everything out but being more spontaneous - like joining a dating network.
