About me

Hi Im Steph from Derbyshire, Im a 42 year old single mum of 2. Hi, the most difficult bit – how to sell yourself when you’re not in marketing!!
I’m not looking for Mr Right/casual relationship/lover, just looking for unconditional friendship, someone on my wavelength to join me on the quest for life.
People have described me variously as intelligent, direct, energetic, practical, cultured, perceptive and caring. Sometimes brimming with energy and enthusiasm, attempting to weigh up human conflict and touching the soul or just semi-blissfully procrastinating.

I’m enthusiastic about many things:
Walking – I love standing on a hill top, wind in my hair looking at the view.
Music – Mainly ballads, Barbra Streisand, Russell Watson, but occasionally like to boogie, quite fond of the 60s/70s/80s!!
Festivals, gigs, theatres – would like to go to many live performances. I need the friends to go with.
Travel/hols – Love to go away for weekends and holidays in the sun, but again need some friends to go with
My kids – my beautiful 10 year old daughter and my handsome 16 year old son.

This kind of thing can only ever be a snapshot, but enough I hope to give you lot out there looking to make new friends, an idea about what makes me tick.

My mission, should you choose to accept, is to make heaps of new friends and have an action packed social life. Sound like a mission you’d like to try? It’s not impossible!!!
