I am 44 and recently seperated, I have three grown up children who are getting on with their own life.
I work in social work (hospital based). I have came to the conclusion that most of my friends are in relationships and buisy raising their families, it is hard to believe that most of those friends were my xs friends, and that we came as a couple which takes some getting used to! Take him out of the picture and realy I don't have many friends left!

I am looking for like minded people with simillar interests. I would like to start living again and enjoying my life, instead of staying in and letting my life pass me by.
I live in Glasgow (Scotland) and Im sure by meeting new and interesting people for social and recreational activities this would allow me to do something constructive with my life.
