Steady Eddy (45) from Bedfordshire

I am an independent, modest, practical, intelligent, fit, reliable, down to earth, slightly reserved, sometimes funny, sometimes serious, average bloke, with relatively simple tastes and values. I have my own house and, being handy with a power tool, I've usually got some project on the go (though I'm no DIY nut!) or can be found pottering in the garden. I'm interested in the countryside and environmental issues; recently joining a local conservation volunteer group. I'm happy with a night out with friends; a night in with a bottle of wine, a takeaway, and a good (even romantic) movie; or a weekend break in the country. I've travelled to most European countries and enjoy the Mediterranean lifestyle.

I would like to meet someone who is bright, independent, outgoing, with similar outlook and ambitions, and realistic expectations.
