StarryNite    (40) from Hertfordshire 

Hi there, I have come on here to make some people who may have things in common with me. I am 40 years old with one son who is now 18, that I have brought up by MYSELF, so he has turned out perfect...lol...only kidding. We have a good relationship and I put this down to the fact that I have never forgotten my own teens and how turbulant and absolutely fantastic a time it was for me. We have our ups and downs too, as in any relationship, be it sisters, brothers, lovers etc. He is quite often out and about, so I have free time now that he is able to spoon feed himself and tie his shoe laces all by himself.

Im am from Dublin and have lived in Hertforshire for many years now, however Dublin is the place to which my heart belongs, although England has been very good to me, so please don't bite my head off. I am kind and compassionate, however, I don't have time for narcisistic people who only want to talk about THEMSELVES and how gorgeous THEY are and so on. My patience only stretches so far.

I am 5ft 4, dark brown hair(medium long), hazel (dark green with brown) eyes. I like my chocolate and my food and am very comfortable with it. Have had enough of diets, always made me feel unhappy, I am always told my size suits me, and the people I know wouldn't want me any other way.

One thing I like to do is listen to lots and lots and lots of music, can never get enough. My favourite band is Muse, and I first discovered them back in 1998 when they were knee high to grasshoppers, now they are HUGE worldwide. I can listen to a variety of music from Nirvana, Inxs, Big Country, Depeche Mode, The Cure, The Cranberries and lots more.

One thing I loathe is when people drive cars that scream out that the owner is loaded. I find it extremely VULGAR to show off how much money one has to spend. I am a bit of a socialist at heart and can't abide by people having too much ( although those people would never admit to having too much)

I'm sure I will add more to this another time.
 

I would love to meet some like minded people as myself. People who are very down to earth and not afraid to show and talk about their feelings. People with a passion for life, people who are not afraid to let out who they really are. I have had enough of meeting people who only tell you all the good things about themselves. Let's face it we all shout, row, cry, or get angry when things don't go as planned...etc...etc. So let it all out I say. But no violence I must add.
