splopjam (50) from Wiltshire

I am 49 years old and single. I have a friendly, sociable nature, am sensitive and affectionate with a good sense of humour. Friends describe me as a free spirit though I would say that that has tempered a bit with age! I still have an adventurous nature though, and try not to stagnate. I am not particularly materialistic, preferring simpler, more natural pleasures. I love being in unspoilt places - in the hills, by the coast, as well as the odd trip back to my roots in the big city!

I was born and grew up in London, since when I have lived in various different places, including Norwich, Isle of Wight, Derbyshire, Oxford, Guildford and now Wiltshire. I lived in Italy for two years which was a great experience.

I work in social care, in the broad field of criminal justice/homelessness/drugs and alcohol. Really interesting and quite a challenge!

In my spare time, I enjoy playing the piano,drumming, walking, natural history, art, music of all kinds, playing tennis, travel, reading, going to the theatre and cinema and socialising. I'm happy to try new things too - at least once!

I would like to meet people with a similar outlook and some shared interests. Someone with whom I can share the simple pleasures of life, the good and the not so good times and take it from there....
