About me
Hello!
I'm a slim, reasonably fit 40-something with an eclectic mix of interests including golf (not obsessive about it, promise!); like football (again, not obsessive about it - promise!)
Fairly arty, too - I write and act for my local theatre on an occasional basis. Appeared in a Shakespeare and a Ben Elton comedy last year (I'm nothing if not versatile!) I love writing - am (still) applying the final tweaks to a novel and have ideas for more swirling around my mind.
Like 99.9% of people on here I enjoy socialising - preferably in smaller gatherings rather than among hundreds in a nightclub.
I think of myself as articulate with a good sense of humour (it's like my taste in wine - dry and fruity!), romantic (smile please, even if the flowers are the wrong colour - at least I tried), reliable and trustworthy.
Reliable and trustworthy? Makes me sound like a pet dog. Oh well.
About you
Without sounding like a cop-out, I'm fairly open-minded about the type of person I'd like to meet. Overall, I prefer someone who respects other's individuality, isn't too bogged down with baggage from the past, and won't be suspicious of someone who has never been married and has no children from past relationships! (Just one o' them things!)
