Please take it as read that I conform to most of the default descriptive phrases used on sites such as this ('positive,' 'glass half-full,' 'fun loving' etc etc). That way, I'm saving screen real estate by not having to list them!

I have a varied gamut of interests ranging from the cerebral/arty at one end to the more active/sporty at the other with a few more somewhere in the middle.

A list of interests/likes includes (but isn't necessarily limited to) the following:

Writing, occasional am drams, photography, playing the guitar, NLP, hypnosis (the therapeutic/relaxation variety, not the 'bark like a dog' stage kind), golf, Arsenal FC (sometimes), women who invite me to Arsenal games on their spare season ticket (not a fantasy - this really has happened!), Portugal (esp. a certain part of the Algarve), my gym/health club (mainly the 'pool/sauna' pampering side of things though I'm coming to terms with the treadmill and the cross trainer et al).

More generally I enjoy good conversation, good humour (mine is dry and fruity - a bit like my favourite tipple), good golfing weather, good theatre and good iPod sound quality by not using the crummy earphones as supplied.

Not prescriptive in any way - if you fancy a chat, feel free to pull up a chair. If you're of a creative persuasion, then that should oil the wheels admirably!
