Not very comfortable with this but here we go!
I am loving, faithful, affectionate, caring and romantic with the right person. I treat women as equals but that doesn't stop me opening doors and looking after them, etc. That doesn't make me a chauvinist though, I call it good manners! I value honesty, integrity and loyalty. If I make a promise, I try always to keep it. I try to help people that ask me to, although my friends sometimes tell me I'm too soft! There we are, that's me. I also have quite a wicked sense of humour. I normally plan things out but occasionally I can be very spontaneous and outrageous.
Due to being single for a large part of my life, I can look after myself very well thank you. I call it “being house-trained”. It would be nice however to share the everyday household drudgery! I normally dress casually, sometimes even just jersey and track-suit bottoms but my friends assure me that I “scrub-up well” when necessary.
Outside of work, which is in the Electrical Engineering sector, I have most of my social life at the weekends. I enjoy good food, wine and company. Love cooking, especially Italian, all made from fresh ingredients, no tins! I like to go to wine-bars, pubs with music, or sometimes just walk and find somewhere new that attracts me. However nights in with the right person and a bottle of Red is a very attractive alternative!
Listen to music a lot, virtually anything with the exception of the the Bang-Bang type. 60s thru to modern, also Opera, Ballet and some light Classical. I am an extremely practical person utilising my engineering skills for DIY, Computer repair and fixing anything that's broken, if I can. Enjoy reading, cryptic crosswords, (not the Times tho'), Internet, logic problems, driving and socialising.
Not really into TV apart from Rugby, F1, Dramas, good Films, Documentaries. Rugby is a passion that has been with me most of my life as a player, coach and now as a spectator. Participated in most sports when younger, including, but not limited to; Squash, Badminton, Skiing, Cricket, Boxing, Rowing, Canoeing and of course, Rugby. Also more obscure sports such as Murderball and Sup-ball???
By nature I am very inquisitive and am always looking to learn more about anything that interests me. I have travelled extensively abroad working and learnt how to order a drink in about 6 languages, lol.
