About me

Ohhhhh a visitor....

I’ve been here quite a while, almost part of the furniture, even Site Admin PAT test me once a year to check I conform. Conforming isn’t something I regularly set out to achieve. I automatically think outside of the box, bending and flexing every rule to the max applying them only as a guideline…… get’s me into trouble sometimes!

In my heart of hearts, I’m still sixteen and often forgot the decades that now shadow me…. I was [deep breath] fffffforty this year and can’t believe how time has evaporated before my eyes. Peter Pan is one of my closest allies.

Use sat nav, it’s all the rage dontcha' know…… you’ll find me amongst the threads adding my two penneth regularly, those glimmers of sarcasm will tell you more about me than anything I care to scribble here.

Interests that I enjoy and captivate me….. well a hint of me anyhoo….
The Mighty Boosh, especially Vince Noir, or is it his sparkly suit I like, who knows, (I am the proud owner of a Mighty Boosh Theatre Ticket for September 2008), sea salt and black pepper crisps, the London Underground map, Twirls but bring back Wispa bars, drumstick lollies, wasting vast amounts of time on MSE as a break from studying, my new wallpaper, it gives the lounge a whole new aspect, purple highlighter pens, people who make me chuckle…… rip roaring belly laughter at in-appropriate times, my garden, my little piece of England which I am cultivating and nurturing, watching the night skies in technicolour, fresh cotton sheets and lazy days out and about, kicking up leaves, splashing in puddles, fishing for tiddlers and watching the world go by from my bubble of tranquility.

What I avoid……
Text messaging, the bane of my life, football, speed camera’s, spitting, laminate flooring, spell checkers, sudoku, people who hate their jobs but never do anything to change that……grrrrrr, endless meetings about meetings, anger, liars and unfinished business.

Some of this may strike a chord, or not, as the case maybe, MSE is like a comfortable pair of slippers and sloppy old jumper, and I'm happy wearing them for now…..

Optimistic about the future and quite happy to amble along and go off on the occassional tangent. Affectionate, blanket hugging, compassionate, decisive, elemental my dear Watson, friendly & flippant, generous, humourous, interesting (I like to think so), jammie dodger loving, kind-hearted, laughter loving, misunderstood, N N N N no idea for N, oblivious, progressive, quagmire dweller, random, a shy sherbert dipper, teflon coated, underpaid, victorious, whacky, x x x, Yorkshire born and bred, zestful but mostly happiest in trainers and with a full tank of petrol.

Thanks to a passing interest who helped me out with a suggestion for "N" - Nutcase! Much appreciated but I'm proficient in my own negativity! :)
