My hobbies and interests

Cooking	I love cooking and I do it well! Prefer classical French/European styles to Far Eastern but also interested in Middle Eastern cuisine. I love fresh fish,especially on the bone and am handy with a filleting knife! I don't eat a lot of red meat but enjoy lamb and a steak occasionally and love vegetables and salad. I try to eat healthily but also enjoy dark chocolate and lemony things!
Shopping	It has to be done and preferably alone please!
DIY	Quite practical, arty crafty but I'm not a builder!
Housework	Housework is a necessary chore.
Dining out	I enjoy good food - at home, in a gastro pub, cafe or Michelin starred restaurant!
Movies	West Side Story, Jean de Florette, Cyrano de Bergerac, anything dramatic or entertaining. Nothing too loud or violent.
Theatre	Culture vulture - three outings for superb Shakespeare in recent months and a brilliant Sweeney Todd.
Music	A bit of everything musically, Rock to Rachmaninov, Schubert to Shows. Oasis to Opera, Kinks to Keenlyside etc!
Gigs	Classical gigs are good but also happy stumbling across a local band of 50-somethings playing well.
Pubs	Enjoy an occasional half of bitter or glass of wine in a quiet pub.
Clubbing	No thanks, I'm all clubbed out from my days in Paris!
Newspapers and magazines	Read papers on the train and magazines at the hairdressers.
Books	Not a great fiction reader, prefer biographies, historical, reference, enlightening stuff!
TV	Cookery programmes, historical costume drama. Don't watch soaps ever, repeat, ever.
Watching sport	Will watch the Olympics! Enjoy Wimbledon on tv and being there.
Playing sport	Zumba, haven't skied for years but would like to try cross-country.
Hobbies	Life drawing, cooking, thinking, playing piano and spoons (not simultaneously),doing nothing, whistling.
