Teen years = too much partying. 20's = too much studying and sports. 30's = career. All this adds up to a happy and comfortable life. However, there's no one special to enjoy the happy times with yet. I try to approach all aspects of life with keen enthusiasm... family, work, sport etc. I may live on the Downs, but life is on the up. Would you care to join me?
Here's a new and alternative strategy... I'm going to be up front and spell it out as it is. Despite having had lots of exciting and interesting experiences like living abroad, teaching and doing a PhD, I find myself living at home again. My Canadian mum is disabled and too sick to go back across the Atlantic. My dad is too old to look after her alone now. I realise that this situation renders me extremely unattractive to many of you lovely ladies out there... fair enough. However, one in a million might realise that I'm nice enough and could do with a break now and then (couldn't we all). In no way I'm I a sad case or feeling sorry for myself. In the first instance, I'd just like some friendly correspondence and the odd night off to go to a restaurant, cinema etc. If anything more substantial were to develop, so much the better.
Take a chance... I might be worth it! Drop me a line and get a cheerful reply. One can't have too many friends; whether in cyberspace or the real world. All the best...
My preferred characteristics include a sparkling smile and eyes. Looks aren't everything, though. Kindness, honesty and reliability are (somewhat needless to say) also very important. A ready (dry) wit is fun too.
