I am sociable, liking to meet people with an interest in the world and also enjoy walking or just pottering at home.
I have travelled quite a lot, overland or sailing but want to see more yet.

I love to visit galleries to see paintings,enjoyed quirky novels like The Shipping News and like World music, though I would not call myself a culture vulture. I equally like to swim in the sea, go sailing or do a night walk.

My working life has been in media and education,also briefly had a smallholding.
I studied foundation Art, photography and Environmental science in a vain hope to save the world, though I am not giving up yet, whether the world wants to be saved or not. Nowadays I make documentaries and paint occasionally as well as teaching full time.

I dance badly and like crazy people, most of whom I think are very sane.

I am looking for a friend and lover to explore the wierd happiness of each day and the challenge of being honest and caring for another person.
