This site seems to be full of perfect people, so let’s get one thing clear from the start: I’m not perfect! For those of you still reading I’m fit, clever, and nice. I’m well travelled, and have a lot of experience of different cultures. I’m passionate about what I do (I teach). I’m a loyal and sympathetic friend. I’m a good listener, I’m compassionate and warm, and I’m gentle with people who open themselves up. I’m sensitive to other people’s feelings.

I’m also (believe it or not) quite modest. I’m a little reserved, and very polite. All in all, I’m a bit of an old-fashioned gentleman. Not only am I passionate about my work, but I’m passionate full stop. But, because I’m also reserved and polite, I tend to keep those passions under control, so it can take some time to get to know me. I’m the kind of bloke you’ll either be indifferent to, or fall in love with – at least that’s been my experience in the past.

I love being with my friends and just talking and laughing. It doesn’t get better than that. There are thousands of things I like to do or would like to do, but there’s not enough time in the day. I’m always up for trying something new.

I have lots of friends, albeit scattered all over the world, but there’s still a vacancy for a special lady. I’m here hoping for love, but it’s always nice to meet new people. 

I'd like to meet someone who I can talk about life and the universe with until the early hours. Someone with their own personality and with their own quirks and flaws (note, must have flaws). You might be a chatterbox, or you might be quiet. Maybe someone a little bit cheeky I'd really just want us to bring out the best in each other, and enjoy that meeting of minds, and that mutual surrender.
