Well I've re-written this section a hundred times trying to work out what I should say and what I should leave out. If I tell you everything we'll be here all day and if I tell you nothing then you've no way to tell if we might get on!

So here's the short(ish) version:

I’ve just got to the point in life where I know who I really am and what I really want for my future, and I’m here basically because I want a shared future! In the long term I do want the traditional happy family life - I’m quite happy to picture myself happily married with children, but equally happy to picture myself travelling around the world as soon as they hit University! However, i'm well aware it takes a lot of time, effort and a whole lot of love to get that far! So in the short to medium term i'm looking for someone who accepts for me for who i am, who wants to have fun with life and with me. And hopefully there’s much more fun, love and laughter to be had on the journey to that point in my life. If your picture looks like mine then maybe we could share it together?

As for me, I consider myself to be an intelligent, honest and ambitious woman. But on the flip side I'm a hopeless romantic, emotional and caring. I’m always looking for new challenges in my job, care more about my friends than anything else on earth, and can find song lyrics for every mood.

I'm a big girl with a big personality so if you're not into curves or you're looking for a wallflower I’m probably not your match.

I love to laugh and am fond of hugs. I have my childish moments, but am starting to enjoy the finer things in life so I’m unlikely to be found out clubbing every night and much more likely to be found laughing with friends in my favourite bars and restaurants.

Some random things I love:
My friends, my family, good restaurants, singing, swimming at night, walks round the park, Eddie Izzard, Diet Coke, listening to the piano at Browns, a good Sauvignon Blanc or Chablis, travelling to new places, Jongleurs (live comedy), walking around the house barefoot, laughing with friends, the sound of an acoustic guitar...

 

Well i've learned the hard way that it takes time to heal after someone breaks your heart, no matter how ready you think you are to move on again. So i'm looking to make friends first and see what happens from there.

As for what I want for the future, my perfect man is someone who is willing to accept me for who I am. Who wants me, without any ifs, buts and maybes. Who is willing to fall head over heels in love with me and show it.

I want someone who will be romantic with me, from bringing me flowers to kissing me on the cheek while I’m cooking tea. Someone who will be affectionate with me in public and who isn’t ashamed to introduce me to their friends. Someone who will be equally happy out with me and friends in the pub on a Friday night and occasionally sitting in church holding my hand on a Sunday morning. Someone who shares my picture for the future.

My ideal match is confident, outgoing, ambitious, caring and honest above all else. He will be happy to share my silly moments, but also engage in intelligent conversation, he loves to laugh but will pick me up when I cry, he is an expert in hugs but doesn't squeeze too hard! He will be fun and flirtatious and will love the idea of being with a curvy bubbly woman like me.
