Hmmmmmmm lets see............. I am easy going, I smile a lot, sarcastic sense of humour - and I love getting it back. I am a civil servant - working for the MOD (Army). I was born in Haddington East Lothian, moved away when I married a soldier - went to Germany for 12 years then Hampshire for the next 18 years. Been married and divorced twice and I have 2 sons in their twenties.

I am not sure what I want to get out of Midsummers Eve - just thought I would give it a go. I like meeting all sorts of people.

My hobbies and interests

Cooking	Yes, I enjoy cooking, when I have time. Cook a lot of chicken mostly. I also like pasta dishes, fish. I do eat red meat but not often - and hay to eat it if someone else cooks it for me - lol.
Shopping	Em...........shopping? for what? Food - necessity but sometimes I like it. Clothes - if its special occasion I like looking for it, just depends.
DIY	Hmmm, I do try and do it myself - sometimes it works - sometimes it doesnt - lol.
Housework	I hate housework but I do like a tidy flat so have to do it. But I would rther pay someone to do it.
Dining out	I love to eat out - Italian would be my fav I guess. But love Thai and Chinese too.
Movies	Love the movies - I have to go with my sons to the Imax near Glasgow to watch the latest Startrek movie out on 8th May. My fav films would be romantic adventures - but will watch anything with ELVIS in.
Theatre	I have only been to a theatre to watch comedy or singers. Not seen any plays.
Music	I like all sorts of music except jazz.
Gigs	The only live bands I hve seen lately are old 'sixties' bands. My son wanted me to go with him to see Britney in London next month but luckily my other son is going instead. Yahoo!!
Pubs	Yeh - like going to pubs - as long as we can hear each other talk - kareoke is fun too though.
Clubbing	I go clubbing with my sons sometimes - havent really met anyone roughly my age in Edinburgh who still wants to go clubbing - lol.
Newspapers and magazines	Magazines I read - lots of. Don't normally buy paper.
Books	Books on Elvis I have read recently.
TV	I find tv relaxing when I am in alone.
Watching sport	Eh nope - no sport really - will watch Olympics if its on though.
Playing sport	Dont participate in any sport.
Hobbies	I went to belly dancing classes for a few years but havent taken it up since coming to Edinburgh 2 years ago. I have, however, just finished a season of 'Highlnd Dancing'.

My hopes and dreams

In ten years I see myself	In Turkey - by the sea - retired. Gonna learn the guitar and take up painting. (maybe)
Who would I invite to a dinner party?	Elvis Presley, Hitler and Simon Cowell.
My ideal date	He would be 6ft, not bad looking, humourous, romantic, tactile and be solvent.
What would I never, ever give up?	Wearing what I want, when I want. Don't like peole telling me what I can and cant wear.
If I had to give a speech on a subject I was passionate about ...	Gawd............. you don't have ask some mind boggling questions................giving blood perhaps???
If I could visit anywhere in the world at any time in history	I would visit Graceland in Memphis to meet Elvis.
If I had a million pounds to give to charity	To help those children in Africa who are told they are bewitched - how cruel is that - even their family disowns them - ignorance is a terrible thing.
