Sheelanagig
(34)
from East Sussex
About me
I do pretty much what I say on the tin. I call a spade a shovel and I don't suffer fools (anymore). I've had my heart broken a fair few times, but I have this really great 'heart repair kit', I'll let you borrow it if you like, although you can probably make your own out of some red wine, lindt chocolate and a selection of Fall records. I'm passionate about films (Lynch, Woody Allen, Cronenberg, Catherine Breillat, Tarantino) and music (Kirstin Hersh, P J Harvey, Hole, Babes in Toyland, Bjork, The last shadow puppets - Alex Turner is a genius - blur, White Stripes, the Strokes, Vampire Weekend, Cold War Kids). I like dancing in my kitchen to the Pixies and singing in my car with volume on full - it's borderline cool/sad. I have terrible road rage, I drink like a fish and I love eating. I absorb culture through my backside (to quote Johnny Lydon) I love art including female surrealist painters, Francis Bacon. Tracy Emin rocks.
I am separated, I have a little boy, I work part time at the local university and I'm doing a masters in Gender & Media - perfect terrain for internet dating (it's all in the name of research dear and believe me, I've learnt so much about us all).
I'M HERE and I'M ALIVE!!
End of.
About you
I would like someone attractive and engaging who is as passionate for films, music, culture as I am. I am a challenge I will admit, but this shrew ain't gonna be tamed, so you would have to be a very strong person.
I could be looking for 'love' but I have to warn you - I'm slightly bitter, so maybe a friendship gradually building into something would be better.
As I said, I have a son so if you can't cope with that - try someone else.
