Although quiet(ish) and unassuming I warm up quickly once I get to know people.

Have lived an interesting, varied and some times confusing life thus far - long may it continue.

A person of many interests and an insatiable desire into how and why things work, including people.

Born and raised in the colonies, lived in several countries and only been living in the UK for 6 years now.

I can appear shy when first meeting people but am more of an observer than one that rushes in (perhaps I have made a clown of myself once too often).

Extremely even tempered and believe that arguing and fighting are wasted energy, however this should not be seen as weakness.

Honesty, integrity, loyalty, reliability and being dependable are qualities I strive for. Absolutely a one partner person and have no interest in playing the field (or games).

Strong morals and principles which I try to live by (not necessarily a goody two shoes though). One woman man.

Broadminded with a naughty sense of humour.

Believe that people/partners should be assets that add to each others lives and not be disruptive, liabilities or destructive.

Am a lover of wild animals and nature, preferring the countryside to the city. Definitely more of a country boy rather than city dude.

Am comfortable being a non drinker and non smoker, feel each to their own.

Good sense of humour but can be a bit dry, love to joke around without hurting people. Can be a bit of a comedian in the right circumstances.

Regards myself as a 'work in progress'.

I have a son (13) who lives locally and visits every second weekend or so.

Family and home are most important to me and always come first.

Been single/separated for 5 years now.

Looking for friends first and maybe more if the right person comes along.
