Hi, What am I like? I feel I am a friendly, easy going, 54year old. Who has recently separated, so new at this. Who enjoys socialising, going to theatre, eating out, local pub, walk along the seafront. Just as happy to sit at home with good dvd and glass or two red wine!!
I enjoy a good laugh.
I have two married sons who live nearby so lucky I can see my grandchildren often.
I love animals and have two pet rabbits, and waiting for a new puppy to arrive end of this month.
Looking initially for friendship but who knows......

My hobbies and interests

Cooking	Yes I love cooking especially when I have someone special to cook for. Will have a go at most things.
Shopping	I like shopping but only when I am shopping for something for someone else, or the home. Not keen on shopping for myself.
DIY	not good at DIY typical helpless female.
Housework	I am not housework fanatic but like to keep fairly tidy and clean. Feel it is something that should be shared when a couple.
Dining out	Yes I enjoy eating out, all types of food. I love my food and not a fussy eater.
Movies	Yes I enjoy going to the cinema but don't go as much because of the invention DVD's. I like a good blockbuster, thriller, romance.
Theatre	I really love the theatre. I would really like to go to London to see Wicked, as sad to say Wizard of Oz has always been a favourite of mine!
Music	I love music of all kinds. I like country and western, Marty Robbins one of my favourites. Love classical music old and modern. Russel Watson.Like the oldies Gene Pitney, Cliff Richard, Beatles, etc I like oasis and black eyed peas
Gigs	Never really been to any gigs but always happy to try anything.
Pubs	Enjoy the social atmosphere of a pub. Nice to meet friends have a chat and glass of wine. Relax.
Clubbing	Not a clubber feel those days are behind me (only just!!) (who am I kidding??)
Newspapers and magazines	Yes I like the odd womans magazine but prefer books. If I do buy the odd health magazine, Cosmopolitan,House and Home, Womens weekly love Chat for quizzes Don't often buy a paper apart from the local one on a Friday.
Books	Yes I am a bit of a bookworm and own quite a few. I just love books. Harlan Coben is a favourite. Robert Goddard, Minnette Walters, Patricia Cornwall, Daniel Steel are some.I will try most things apart from Mills and Boon.
TV	I can take or leave television. Used to be a soap fan but not any more. I do enjoy Holby City which is the only thing I try not to miss. Like nature programmes. The odd thriller or detective mystery.
Watching sport	no, not into sport really, but don't mind someone else watching it.
Playing sport	No, not into any, apart from the occasional swim. I like Yoga and Pilates, and walking .
Hobbies	Love doing jigsaws, crosswords, suduko. Enjoy pilates, yoga and going to join Tai Chi class soon. Love my garden. Used to love walking the dogs which sadly I don't have anymore. Enjoy walking but not so good on your own!

My hopes and dreams

In ten years I see myself	I would like to feel I will be happy in a stable relationship with someone who loves me as much as I love him. Someone I can spoil and he me.
Who would I invite to a dinner party?	My Dad (died when I was 12) so I could get to know him better. My younger sister who would be able to keep the conversation going so there would be no awkward silences and Cliff of course.
My ideal date	I don't have an ideal date. The person I am meeting is whats important so would not mind. It would be nice if he was a kind, honest, loving,caring man and fun to be with.
What would I never, ever give up?	My family. They have been a great support through some very difficult times.
If I had to give a speech on a subject I was passionate about ...	It would probably be alzheimers. It is very misunderstood. People assume alzheimers means dementia but it is not the same. There is a lot of ignorance out there and not a lot spoken about it. It has more recently been in the public eye which can only be a good thing.
If I could visit anywhere in the world at any time in history	I would love to have been a lady when they dressed up for a ball. Wear those beautiful ball gowns, long gloves, hair piled high, they knew how to make the most of their femininity and were proud to be female.
If I had a million pounds to give to charity	half to Cancer and half to alzheimers I have lost family and friends to these two cruel and awful diseases that sneak up on you without you knowing. They need all they can get to be able to detect them early and find cures.
My "and finally" section ...	I am an ordinary working woman who has a lot of care and affection to shower on the right person. I am loyal and reliable and nice to be with.(in my eyes anyway lol)
