I'm described by my wide circle of friends as reliable, a good listener, having a "sharpe and acid wit" (on a good day, maybe, say I). My social life is busy. No time for fair weathered friends as I'm not one of 'em. My closest friends go back 25 years or so.
I work for a local charity as a support worker and counsellor. No, I'm not touting for business, THANK YOU, although I do counsel privately also. I'm looking to find the Holy Grail - that 50-50 relationship with someone genuine.
Clubbing aint never been my idea of fun, which puts me in the minority I guess, but there you go. I far more enjoy somewhere I can hear what friends want to say, laugh and have a proper drink in my hand. I like dining out, cinema, theatre, the countryside, crackling fires on cold winter evenings, music, reading and writing.
A lady who's indepentent but not aloof, equally caring and tactile, intellectual but fun with a good sense of humour.
