I'm not very good at this part... I'm young at heart and fun-loving and have a playful side. I am adventurous and like to try new things. I've tried my had at flying a plane and am at the moment keen to try skydiving and maybe a balloon trip.
I like music and attend concerts and the ballet when I get the opportunity. I also like to try my hand at painting when the mood takes me. I also love animals.

Someone who is young at heart (not to be confused with immature) and with a good sense of fun, sincere and with sensitivity. Someone intelligent and educated. Also hopefully an animal lover.

My hobbies and interests

Cooking	Don't often do it. Not my favourite pastime to be perfectly honest, but it's OK I guess. Only vegetarian as I'm veggie!
Shopping	Depends what for. Food etc. not very interesting. Clothes shopping yes - when I find something I like! But I'm definitely no spendaholic and I do have other interests too!
DIY	I've never done much DIY. I put some picture hooks in and made only a slight mess, but no disaster - no pipes or wires encountered. Changing lightbulbs and fuses - no problem! (I can also add water/oil to my car etc.!!)
Housework	Somewhere in between.
Dining out	I like a variety of cuisines - Indian, Lebonese, Mexican, Italian... Also quite like good old English.
Movies	Love the flicks! I also have fairly broad tastes and I'm abit of a film buff so have watched many of the old black and whites too from 20's onwards. Recent-ish films I can recommend inlcude Changeling, Boy in the Striped Pyjamas. I also like less mainstream films, i.e. foreign films, French, Spanish, German. Really liked The Lives of Others (around last year).
Theatre	Occasionally go but not often. I always seem to see plays where all the roles are played by three or four actors changing costumes constantly! I prefer something with music really though. Opera and musicals, and especially ballet.
Music	Mostly I listen to classical music. I like concerts. I do have wide tastes though and also like more modern music - well 80's and 90's more than current (I don't listen to the charts anymore) Also some jazz etc.
Gigs	Haven't been to anything like this for ages...But if I see something I like I'd give it a go.
Pubs	Not really a regular but I go now and then.
Clubbing	Not really - but a good disco with music I like would be fun.
Newspapers and magazines	Infrequently. Get the news more from the TV, radio, internet. If I read I generally go for the Independent, though the Times has Sudoku...
Books	On and off. I read all kinds, mainly fiction but not exclusively. My current read is on World War 1 poets and poetry.
TV	Films, news, sitcoms, ... depends on my mood
Watching sport	Not really. I occasionally watch a World Cup match or something. I prefer other sports, Tennis, Gymnastics, Ice Skating, etc. I did keep track of the Ashes! But I know many people who are fans and I like to know what they're talking about.
Playing sport	Not really into sports. I like a walk in the country or horse riding. I also like country drives but does that really count as sport for me or for the car?
Hobbies	Painting, drawing, reading, horse riding, chess...

My hopes and dreams

In ten years I see myself	This is the sort of question one gets asked at job interviews!
Who would I invite to a dinner party?	Dunno, I 've never really thought about it!
My ideal date	Most important thing is who! If we click and enjoy each other's company that would be a good start!
What would I never, ever give up?	Too many questions!
If I had to give a speech on a subject I was passionate about ...	I'll think about this when I'm asked...
If I could visit anywhere in the world at any time in history	Does everybody really have one all time favourite place, subject, dinner guest, ideal date? When or if the opportunity presents, I'll give it my undivided attention.
If I had a million pounds to give to charity	Almost certainly more than one. And these would in some way help people or animals or the environment, and I feel these often all go together in the long run.
My "and finally" section ...	I think there are too many questions here! I know I've been rather vague on many but I feel alot of these are the kind of things we find out more about when getting to know someone.
