I'm an honest, straightforward person who is passionate about what he does and who believes that what makes life special is the people you are with rather than simply the things that you do. My friends say I'm a good listener and they often accuse me of caring too much about other people and not enough about myself. Well, what can I say? I care about people - not a crime, I hope!

I currently live in Stroud, Gloucestershire, and work in history publishing. When I'm not turning manuscripts into books(!), I enjoy....listening to music (rock, folk, indie), going to see live music, watching football, travel, reading - history and fiction mostly - and, most importantly, going down the pub for a good ole chat! 

I want to meet someone who is passionate about who they are and what they do, and is prepared to make a commitment in whatever develops - because a relationship is nothing if both people aren't committed to it. Someone who will care about me and make an effort for me as much as I will undoubtedly make an effort for them.
