I would probably class myself as relatively independent. I would also, if pressed, admit to being reasonably intelligent. I like to think I am a caring person, but who enjoys a good laugh (although I am lousy at telling jokes), believe I am young at heart, am definitely vegetarian, flexible in my approach to life, can be outgoing, love having friends around me.

I enjoy conversation, theatre, cinema, art, music, good restaurants... Some people think I am a good cook (not sure that is true, but I do a good (vegetarian!) Sunday breakfast!). I seem to play a lot of board games including backgammon.

I love to go out partying - to drink and eat too much and hang the consequences! I really enjoy going to comedy clubs and try to sit at the front. I love having parties in my house and/or garden.

I live with my grown up daughter and two cats in South London. I have a lot of friends and a busy life style, but am looking for more...  

I am looking for someone who is funny but can be serious, who is also intelligent, preferably taller than me (!), enjoys conversation/debate, who is equally independent, likes cats (!) enjoys going out, but not all the time.

I am a bit of a Romantic at heart, and miss having someone around to discuss the meaning and the minutiae of life.
