Gregarious but have a quiet side too, am an ex-scouse so humour is a bit daft.I work freelance which gives me a bit of free time but it can be stressful when work slows! I like the outdoors especially in the warm weather and anything to do with water. I enjoy music, live concerts, socialising, gardening - try to be organic. I know I must watch my fitness but get very bored, have done race for life - don't like running, I just get cought up in it on the day. quite good at DIY and when I want to do it I enjoy it.
Friends to share time with whether it be on a day trip to France or a walk in a nice place, from an occasional boogie to learning something new, or just meeting for a drink and a talk..

|
love cooking, not always a success, make a mean Madras, roasts, Moules, Italian and really like doing Greek.

|
Not into shopping as a pastime. best when I see things when I am not looking, can't deal wi the sales, too many people and too much choice, can't be bothered.

DIY
|
Love DIY when I want to do it, can tile, fit cupboards paint and decorate have taken a plastering course too, but when I have to do it, it isn't fun

Housework
|
my house is clean but sometimes gets untidy, used to be a slave to housework, more important things to do these days.

Dining out
|
Like eating out but it isn't vital. Love a quick Pizza Express or intimate little Italian or Greek or good old British.

Movies
|
Now and again, don't like the OTT unreal graphics or too much violence and noise. but like goodfellas, trainspotting, mama mia captain correllies mandolin.

Theatre
|
love farce, would like to go to the Globe next year, not a regular goer at the moment but would like more.

Music
|
love music, current faves, Snow Patrol, Killers, cold Play, all time - Eagles, Dire Straits, Eric Clapton, anything to do with the Liverpool sound - am a scouse

Gigs
|
went to Jools Holland at Kew and after the champers picnic we boogied all evening, Want to see Coldplay at O2 next September, like out doors gigs once it gets dark and atmospheric

Pubs
|
like both wine and beer, pubs and bars are ok but I steer clear Friday nights

Clubbing
|
clubbing now and again as part of a group is fine but don't need it every week.

Newspapers and magazines
|
Saturday Telegraph, sometimes the times. Metro type when I go to London, no other real regular reads.

Books
|
Love reading and books, at any one time it coud be David Baldacci, David Eddings, Ken Follett- Pillars of the Earth and its sequel my all time favourites

TV
|
don't watchsoaps or reality tv apart from I'm a Celeb', like Mock the week, QI, top gear, Buzzcocks, waking the dead, Life on Mars, Ashes to Ashes.

Watching sport
|
Rugby, Rugby and Rugby, athletics, the velodrome, not that into footie

Playing sport
|
bash about at tennis and badminton, swim and go to the gym

Hobbies
|
like walking, growing organic chillies, toms salads etc, thoughonce the warm weather comes it is a case of - get on with it. LIke river cruising, chilled out
relaxation, wildlife especially birds though not a twitcher
