I have Bachelors & Masters degrees and worked formerly as a psychiatric social worker and psychotherapist. I have worked in academia, lecturing in psychology & sociology. I am currently a care consultant assisting private sector would-be care providers.

I am slim but not a stick insect and have long black hair, brown eyes and a Mediterranean look. I am considered very attractive.

I have an eclectic taste in music from Italian opera to Rammstein. I enjoy the theatre, reading - I have a special interest in Oscar Wilde - Bloomsbury and the Pre Raphealites.
I don't watch much television, prefer the radio. I have a passion for motor racing - as a spectator and try to get to as many European races in the season as funds will allow. I enjoy skiiing, clay pigeon shooting and drinking champagne. As far as travel is concerned I do not visit congested tourist hot spots. I am interested in volcanology and geology and spend a lot of time poking about in lava fields, sliding on glaciers and peering into craters.

I am an extrovert, with excellent communication skills and can mix with any group of people. I am friendly, reliable, honest, good humoured and a good listener. Patient with children and traffic wardens. I have a mortgage, an overdraft and two energetic ocicats.

Well educated preferably graduate. Mature enough to have jettisoned baggage and realised that a sucessful relationship is based on honesty. Someone who enjoys intelligent conversation, the good things in life and has a well developed sense of humour. Own teeth and hair, not bald or over weight. Not a Sun reader or soap watcher.
