My hobbies and interests

Cooking	An ideal evening at home would allow me to indulge my passion for grand entertaining. I'd decorate the house, cook fabulous food (I make a great lasagne) and invite over a few guests to enjoy it all with. I think the whole social thing of sitting around, chatting and sipping wine is fantastic.
Shopping	Love shopping especially looking at the bric a brac in charity shops.
DIY	Definately handy - I will have a go - although sometimes get frustrated with it and call my Dad.
Housework	Love housework - am extremely house and garden proud
Dining out	Love dining out - all different times of restaurants, greek, chinese, italian and indian
Movies	Love romantic or girly movies - looking forward to the 'Sex in the City' sequel which is out this year
Theatre	Love theatre and try to go often - mainly musical shows.
Music	Quite diverse - soul music, tamla motown, elvis and other crooners.
Gigs	Have been the Echo Arena recently to see Elvis and last year the Tempatations, Abba and others
Pubs	Not really a pub person except occassionally with colleagues from work, leaving parties, etc
Clubbing	No, not clubbing
Newspapers and magazines	Love the local newspaper and read daily. Also enjoy Mail and Express on Sundays with the inclusive magazines
Books	Cannot put a book down once I start especially John Grishom or if in holiday mood Danielle Steele.
TV	Enjoy CSI, Law and Order and factual crime drama
Watching sport	Not a sport watcher
Playing sport	Currently going to aerobics keep fit classes
Hobbies	Love dancing and socialising generally

My hopes and dreams

In ten years I see myself	Still fit hopefully - parents and family live close so cannot see me moving away. Retirement would be nice.
Who would I invite to a dinner party?	Dudley Moore (for laughter). Richard Claderman (for the music) and Pierce Brosnan or Colin Firth (just because).
My ideal date	A two way event - communication with an interesting person. Venue not important if the person is right.
What would I never, ever give up?	My home - I wouldn't give this up because I have worked hard to get it right and apart from a small number of tasks is almost finished.
If I had to give a speech on a subject I was passionate about ...	That you are never too old to do anything.
If I could visit anywhere in the world at any time in history	I'd like to ski in Canada - just because it seems so much more scenic and with softer snow than Europe.
If I had a million pounds to give to charity	Pet charities.
