Well, where to start. I'm a 40-something lass with a good, if quirky, sense of humour. I'm chatty yet a good listener too. Friends describe me as kind, humanitarian, scatty, friendly, warm-hearted, empathic, sociable, a little eccentric, an individual.

In my spare time I love to play music, 'do' art, write, read, visit old churches, cathedrals, stone circles and the like.

I don't watch TV, though I do enjoy a good, funny film from time to time. I have no interest in sports at all, not a thing. And I keep up with current events in a vague kind of way.

My interests also include Anglo-Saxon history, archaeology, nature, folklore, and lots more besides.

I enjoy cooking and sharing a meal with friends. Most probably my favourite meal would be fresh-baked bread, still warm, with a delicious cheese, grapes, tomatoes, and olives.

Anything else you'd like to know about me, well you'll just have to ask! 

I would like to meet people as friends or with the prospect of more than friends.

What kind of person am I looking for? Well, that would be someone who is interesting, witty, intelligent. Someone who can enrich my life's experiences as I could enrich theirs in return.

I would like to make some new friends who would be interested in visiting museums, art galleries, stone circles, prehistoric sites, music events and other places of mutual interest, as well as chatty times together.
