My hobbies and interests

Cooking	I wouldn't say that I am an amazing cook but I do enjoy it and I can do some things rather well.
Shopping	I tend to shop online and try to spend as little time as possible in shops. I don't enjoy spending the whole day in Ikea, for example - once was enough - nor do I like going shopping with girls. But maybe you are different and know how to make the whole experience relaxing!
DIY	Expert. When I am not in Hampshire, I spend time renovating my farmhouse in the Auvergne in France.
Housework	Not a total slob but I don't iron my boxer shorts.
Dining out	Like going out for currys, Thai and other Asian food, Spanish, Italian.
Movies	Yes
Theatre	Occasionally but I haven't had the time or the inclination of late.
Music	Indie, electronica, pop. Used to listen to a lot of house, dance and trance music.
Gigs	I've been known to put in the odd appearance at small intimate gigs. Live bands in pubs can also be fun.

Newspapers and magazines	All the online UK newspapers, every day. Also, financial newspapers where work dictates that I need to be informed on certain issues.
Books	No time of late but I do enjoy escaping to read a book.
TV	I only watch sport on tv.
Watching sport	Yes, football. Preferably live at St Mary's stadium. When I lived in Germany, I tried to get back to Southampton for a couple of games per season.
Playing sport	Squash, snowboarding, cycling, football.
