I think my friends would describe me as humorous, kind, maybe a little reserved, although I do open up pretty quickly. I like to make people laugh and can see the funny side of most situations, I also have the ability to laugh at myself whenever I do something stupid. I value loyalty, respect and love being with people who make me laugh. I'm pretty broad minded, tolerant and totally unstuffy. I'm not really a "party" type of person; I'm at my best in small groups with intimate friends. In a newly discovered restaurant somewhere or a cosy pub in the Lakes spring to mind.
The most important thing in my life is my family, particularly my children, but they are now increasingly independent and that hopefully gives me the chance to broaden my horizons. If you asked me what my faults were, I'd probably say I'm not the world's greatest loser, although I tend to keep it fairly well hidden.
I'm looking for friendship, fellow walkers and people with a similar outlook on life for occasional social events and gatherings
