An eternal optimist who looks for the positives and intelligent but always willing to learn! I like to chat about trivial as well as serious things, and love to laugh.

I'm pro-active and passionate - can you keep up? I'm witty and innovative - never a dull moment.

I try to balance my time between my family, lifestyle and anyone else that matters. I treasure the value of friendship both on and off the web.

What floats my boat are: spontaneous laughter, 'free spirit', live entertainment, dance and RnB music, being around my family, being around people, simple pleasures, mutual respect, good communication, openess, open mindedness, tolerance and acceptance, doing something new and being appreciated, good manners, compromises, surprises.

I'm independant and happily live with my two lovely children (girl 15 and boy 13)who pack my weekdays with love and happiness. My weekends are free to do what I want (I turn off the telly and crank up the radio/CD). I try and get to the gym when I can, especially for aquarobics and low impact e.g. pilates.

I'm now having fun wandering around singledomland again and have already met some lovely people from this site. I hope this continues to happen but when Mr. Someone Special leaps out at me, stops me in my tracks and showers me with affection, I'll be blissfully happy to share the best things in life with him (not necessarily materialistic) which will include a bit of mutual pampering/cuddles/tlc/loyalty/respect/whatever!

Well I have found my superman whom I adore. We have been together over 8 months now. We both shower each other in affection and whenever he's not able to be around in person, I still enjoy the warmth of his spirit around me. I thought it was impossible to ask someone to accept my situation as it is but he has proved me wrong and I have total respect of him for that. Reviewing my wish list above I'm amazed how many boxes he ticks. He is the one I have been searching for all my life and I'm looking forward to our future.
 

Update: Currently seeing someone and seeing how it pans out, so out of "open" circulation.


Wanted, man (with or without baggage) who wears undies on the outside and can clear buildings in a single bound, subject to travelling business class!

[Well he is a high flyer but down to earth and sincere when it comes to 'us']

Must haves:

a great sense of humour(laughter is a great aphrodisiac!)

[his smile melts me]

a caring and tolerant nature

[he ticks this box 110% caring for me and those around us]

great communication skills including honesty and openess.

[his honesty attracted me before we met - and our these qualities are reasons why our relationship continues to grow]

family orientation - not to produce anymore(!) children but to welcome mine and for me to welcome yours if you have any

[let this be a lesson - although he admits taking on someone else's family was not on his agenda prior to meeting me, I am amazed and so honoured he has taken to my children - when two people feel strongly about each other, and compromise happens, true love and happiness will find a way]

genuineness and a desire for mutual respect plus let's not be shy to talk and work things through if things are not going to plan

[sometimes I find it difficult to say what's on my mind because of what's happened a in previous relationship but this lovely man is so patient and always willing to listen]

a desire to be proud of having me in your life and devotion towards making the best out of what we may be lucky enough to find

a desire to be more of a 'fireworks' rather than a 'slippers' man

Sadly MSE can't claim this 'match' but thank goodness I did have a look elsewhere last year. I'm so glad you logged on that day when ironically we were very near to each other {in different terminals at Manchester airport - OK not at the same time but we were there on the same day} Isn't it strange how life works?
