Hello. I'm pretty independent and self sufficient, quite happy with my life just missing that someone special.

Most of my friends have now settled down and I find I'm the only singleton left. I'm 35 and thinking perhaps it's time I joined them...that doesn't mean that I'm desperate though!!

I enjoy all of the usual kinds of things...wing walking, pot holing and skydiving, and that's just on a week night! No seriously, I'm genuine, loyal, honest and caring,with a drop of fiestiness and stubborness thrown in for good measure. I'm not perfect but then, who is?

I'd rather not write too much here - I'd rather you get to know me when we chat.

I'm looking for someone to share the good times with as well as the bad. I'm not interested in players! I think that's it in a nut shell!

My hobbies and interests

Cooking	I enjoy cooking but it's more fun cooking for two. I like cooking for my friends...nothing fancy just spag bol, curry and chilli.
Shopping	I love shopping whether it be the weekly food shop, Christmas presents, clothes or treats for myself or home.
DIY	I like decorating and can do BASIC DIY but anthing that involves a drill and I call my dad! I did board my loft using a nail gun - jeez that was scarey!
Housework	I'm pretty clean and tidy, especially if I've just watched "How Clean is Your House".
Dining out	I enjoy eating out and am more in to good pub grub than fancy cuisine. Don't like Chinese and seafood but love Indian, Italian and Mexican. Love ALL puddings except tiramisu and chocolate ice cream.
Movies	I like psychological thrillers, I dont do blood and guts. 15s are ok but 18s are generally too scarey / violent for me.
Theatre	I enjoy the theatre but don't get to go as often as I'd like. Saw The Vagina Monologues earlier in the year, hmm not really my cup of tea. I recently saw a local production of Sweeney Todd which was excellent. I'd like to go and see more musicals such as We Will Rock You and Joesph - I didn't enjoy Phantom.
Music	I listen to the radio alot (yes I am a TOG)! My musical tastes are varied...old school dance, cheesy 70s & 80s disco, rock and current chart.
Gigs	The last big gig I went to was Jools Holland. My local pub has bands every couple of weeks which I enjoy going to see, (mainly covers bands).
Pubs	I prefer traditional and country pubs to trendy bars.
Clubbing	I last went clubbing in April for a hen party so I wouldn't say it was a regular thing! Used to do it loads but think maybe I'm a bit old now?!
Newspapers and magazines	I only really read local papers but can be tempted to the Sunday papers over a pint and a spot of lunch.
Books	My favourite author is James Patterson, I love pretty much everything he's ever written. I also lke Martina Cole although her colourful language can wear a bit thin after a while.
TV	My favourite programmes are CSI, Wire in the Blood, Spooks and Corrie. Other than that I try to catch the news at leat once a day.
Watching sport	I like cricket so I loved the recent Ashes tournament. I don't support any particualr team but I do enjoy watching England play football in important matches,,,(don't see the point of friendlies).
Playing sport	I don't really play any sport - I'm still traumatised by being suuck in Goal Defence in the school netball team for the whole of my school life.
Hobbies	I absolutely love walking whether it be in The Lakes, Peaks, North Wales or on my doorstep. I'm lucky to have some pretty cool countryside where I live so that's good for my soul. I really don't enjoy the gym - much prefer cutting straight to the swimming and sauna! I love being an aunty to my 2 year old niece and family and friends are very important to me so I spend as much times as possible with them. I'm happiest when on holiday, (well who isn't?), and am just as happy lazing on a beach as tumbling down a mountain, or sight seeing in a city.

If I could visit anywhere in the world at any time in history	I'd visit the East End of London and find out who Jack The Ripper really was.
If I had a million pounds to give to charity	I'd give money to animals and the elderly.
My "and finally" section ...	Although I love walking I do struggle walking down steep gradients...I kind of have to get low and scoot down on my bottom!
