Reality-Check (49) from central London

I assume by now you have met the hopeful, the rebel, the saint, the success and other male characters that promised the world, boasted of their ability to walk on water as well as party tricks like turning water into wine. As for conquests, voyages of discovery, places visited, things done, cars owned, success and glory attained, well I assume you have come across these attributes too, and found them not quite enough.

I take a keen interest in observing, understanding why people are they way they are and do the things they do in the way they do it. We all carry our past unconsciously in our ordinary everyday behaviors. I can be a very warm-hearted person when I know someone, and strongly believe in communication, so anyone I have a relationship with, has to like to talk. I would prefer to remain alone than with the wrong person.


Being a paradox, you'd really have to get to know me to know me, to understand who and what I am, as first impressions certainly in my case, can sometimes be overwhelmingly misleading. I am energetic, very practical, open-minded, and tend to be a both inquisitive and questioning, enjoy good conversation and thought provoking ideas. I might be a fool but am no idiot.

I live and work both in Sheffield and London, but not at the same time. Do not drink, as do not like bitter things, only sweet, so in general, what I do not have, cannot miss. Live a simple life but in a very complicated way, would not know how to want, so stick to needs, as it's easier.

So from my own small personalised world, where the computer allows me to travel to spaces and places, while remaining seated, this is me signing off hoping there is intelligent, understanding and kind human female life form out there somewhere, who might be curious enough to investigate my world.

I am looking for someone who understands the theory of compromise, and therefore be far from being a pushover. Not after a spark (they go out so quickly) or an explosion (over before it begins), more a warm slow burn as it get brighter all the time. On the other hand, maybe I ought to just have said hoping to meet someone that might be able to put up with me, as chatter too much.
