I'm still a "young at heart" tom-boy. Thoughtful, easy-going and good natured, but I will not be "put upon" which may cause me to use the sting in my tail (being a Scorpio, get it! I’m animal crackers and I have 3 cats. I'm very serious minded but not without a sense of humour; and to be honest I’m more introvert than extrovert. I seemed to have led a dull life of late (through nobodies fault but my own) and feel I need to BURST back into life. It would be great to meet social group of male and female for dinning out, theatre, BBQ's etc. My first priority is to get back a social life, to have fun and a good few belly laughs (can't think of the last time I had one).
In all fairness l would like to meet and special man ..............eventually.

I'm looking for a local crowd to socialise with, dinning, pubbing and activities, small pleasures in life don't have to cost a fortune.

My hobbies and interests

Cooking	HHHMMMM not a great cook but trying to get there
Shopping	Don't mind shopping providing they have a Marks and Spencers, Monsoon, bric an brac and lots of shoe shops
DIY	I'm not too bad at DIY, but can never drill a hole properly, I drill it, fill it, then start again, drill, fill it, then start againnnn
Housework	Not quite a total slob, tend to treat house work as exercise.
Dining out	yeah, yeah, yeah, luv it. chinese, Indian, Italian etc etc etc
Movies	I don't go very often prefer to wait for the DVD and watch the film with a glass of wines and a bowl of peanuts
Theatre	Like the theatre but don't go enough but that will now change as Dunstable has it's own theatre
Music	Prefer easy listening music, like Bat Out Of Hell, but tend to listen to audio books, especially the classics, Jane Austin, the Bronte's
Gigs	Would attend more if I could find out where they are. Quite fancy folk dancing (not barn dancing), again it's finding one near me
Pubs	Again don't mind but couldn't do it every night.
Clubbing	To what I see of clubbing these day, I give it a miss. I am a member of a social organisation and go to the black tie, and diner dance do's. I get a chance to get out of the jeans in put a long frock on.
Newspapers and magazines	I read magazines that other people buy. My newspaper is the Daily Mail, I find the femail articles and money mail interesting, but like all other newpapers I've learnt to take a lot of it like "a pinch of salt"
Books	Haven't read a book for a long time, but listen to audio books.
TV	I luv the box within reason, but tend to have on as background noise. On winter nights it good to get nice and cosy, and watch a film with a glass of wine and a bowl of peanuts
Watching sport	NO, NO, NO,NO
Playing sport	NO, whoa wait, I like swimming. I do my own exercise rountine but don't have enough times to do a decent fitness regime.
Hobbies	My cats, My garden (it's postage size), My ebay, My house. Another hobby is to get a better social life but I am working on it. Watch this space.

If I could visit anywhere in the world at any time in history	I would love to live where it is really warm and green, I love Florida preferably the West Coast. Down side of this sort of weather...........mosquitos and other nasy things that bite.
If I had a million pounds to give to charity	1st Annimal Charities especially the local ones. 2nd Cancer Research 3rd To help 3rd world kids with cleft palettes, Always feel so sorry for them when I read the papers
