Hello and welcome to my profile. It’s been a while since I wrote the last one, so thought I would update a little. Well my hopes and dreams haven’t changed. I’m still hoping to meet my soul mate the man of my dreams. Some people say looks aren’t important BUT there has to be a spark don’t you think?

I’ll get the negative things out of the way first… Please, please have a photo, I’m well aware that photo’s can be deceptive, but you get a general idea. And if you are in your 20’s 30’s 40’s or living abroad, I’m not interested, just like I’m not interested in one-night stands. No I’m really not interested. I’m also not interested in skiing, Skydiving or any other extreme sport… I am 59, yes I am fit but would rather not tempt fate.

I can be as mad as a hatter. But also completely sane when the need arises. I love shopping, reading Bill Bryson books; I enjoy walking, the coast, castles, old buildings, beautiful architecture I love the architecture of Gaudi, and want to revisit Barcelona some time in the not to distant future, holidays both in our lovely country and abroad… spent last Christmas and New Year in Barcelona and Paris. And am spending my sixtieth birthday in Dublin. I love talking way into the night, walking on the beach at midnight. Country pubs, I love animals, especially dogs.

I’m a very tactile person, loving and kind. And if I fall in love with you, you will never be loved more by anyone. I’m romantic and love candle lit dinners, although I don’t really like cooking… so if you cook that would be real brownie points for you. I like a glass or two of white wine, and have a varied taste in music… classical, dance, motown, 80’s Led Zeppelin, Bob Dylan and Van Morrison, but these are just a few of my many likes.
I would also love to share in your hobbies and things you like doing. Am excited about getting to know someone new lol.


I have two children…well in their thirties, both independent and 4 grandchildren, whom I love dearly, and if that’s what some people call baggage then I have masses of it.
Although I want a serious relationship, I also like having some time to myself. Although I do quite a lot of things, they are mainly to fill up my time. And I really do have plenty of time to give to a relationship, and would do for the right person.

One more thing if you are looking for just a friend, please pass me by, as “I want it all” ha! ha!.
