About me

My main passion and hobby is motorcycles and I defy entropy by riding fabulous old bikes year round. It keeps me young at heart (heck it's fun, even in winter) and I think I was born to restore and repair things. Says a lot about my personality - tenacious. But I don't act "greasy biker", I'm intelligent (BSc Mech Eng - not easy!), well-mannered and make an effort to get on with people. I spent 17 years writing computer games from home (have a number one best smeller) (deliberate mispell) and am currently wondering what to do next. I love where I live (semi-rural), am solvent, reliable, attentive, affectionate, very tactile, a good listener and can be quite witty when tipsy! I am very, very different and a typical Piscean in that it's the deeper things in life that matter although it is hopefully, nicely balanced by being very practical and down to earth. I have absolutely no desire for the trappings of wealth, my bag is personal achievement. I love cats (sorry not keen on dogs), films, all the usual stuff (heck, everything is fun if it's in the right company). I don't want to meet anyone who has children living at home or who wants to start a family as kids are simply not my scene. I haven't a parental bone in my body I'm afraid! Would love to meet someone who has "arrived", knows herself well, loves snuggly stuff and really wants to find someone to grow with.

About you

I play golf and keep slim and fit as a result and I'd like to meet someone the same although a few extra pounds is fine. Someone intelligent, moral, affectionate and with some passion inside. I'm long overdue some fun. Wanna help? I know I'm asking for a lot and especially the no-kids thing will no doubt upset a few but look at it this way - I'm not wasting anyone's time by being vague about who I am or what I want.

Why raging thirst? Because I have a raging thirst for life and lurve ;o) Also .... it takes three huuuuge mugs of tea to rehydrate after 18 holes of
golf !
