Who am I?
Cerebral Practical Imaginative
Physical Creative Entertaining
I have very broad interests which are covered by the headings above - for specifics, feel free to ask, and I love to have new experiences, so perhaps you could introduce me to some more?
I particularly enjoy theatre, cinema, history, intellectual discussion and creative activities. I'm spontaneous and mischievous, and enjoy outdoor pursuits.
I'm very caring and compassionate. Also sensitive, and passionate about anything/anyone worthy of it.
My spirituality centres around pagan/wiccan philosophy, and I'm very eco-conscious.
I wish to meet someone in friendship initially, which may or may not develop into a relationship; I would always be open and honest about whether that might happen. I am ultimately seeking a long-term, stable relationship.
Oh, since I'm self-employed and business is very quiet, I'm able to travel only in my surrounding area, I'm afraid, but this is by no means restrictive as to activities and environment.
Perhaps we could meet for country walk and long chat, then if I like the cut of your jib, you would be welcome to run the gauntlet of my dog and cat for a coffee and a game of air-hockey (I warn you, I'm very competitive!).
Failing that, a cuppa in a local cafe would be okay!
And who would I want you to be?
As far as relationships go, I need a man to be above all, a gentleman - in every sense of the word. You must have respect for women in general, and be willing to make first contact.
Someone who is intellectually and emotionally developed and has many interests - not necessarily pursuits.
Someone who will not wish me to chat on Messenger purely to give him a cheap thrill - but to get to know each other better.
A man who genuinely wants to get to know me, and to see what may develop. Not ask me many questions to see if I fit ALL of his 'tick-list' before we even meet - so no endless messaging.
An interesting man who enjoys life and looks forward rather than back.
Not conventionally attractive, perhaps - I prefer less conventional looks.
Oh, and you need to be a non-smoker.
Thank you for reading..... xxx

My detailed facts
My hobbies and interests
Cooking
I do like chicken, fish or veggie dishes, but meat is fine too.
Shopping
Don't mind if I want something in particular, but I don't like to wander the shops aimlessly.
DIY
I've been known to wield a few tools - have tackled such things as building in shelf units, fitting ceiling lights, replacing the thermostat in a fridge/freezer - not because I wanted to , but because I had to!
Housework
My house is clean enough to be healthy and dirty enough to be happy!
Dining out
I'm happy eating in or out - like Indian, Italian, Chinese and English, but I think nouvelle cuisine is over-rated and overpriced. Just as happy with egg and chips or fish and chips!
Movies
Love the cinema and will go to watch most genres; I'm particularly fond of fantasy, horror, sci-fi and martial arts, although I do like small studio and European productions.
Theatre
Absolutely adore it! Have done a bit of am-dram and considered turning pro at one time. Again, I'll go to see a wide variety, although I like Shakespeare in particular, the classics in general.
Music
Very eclectic tastes - everything from Mozart to Prodigy, Vivaldi to Alice Cooper!
Gigs
Much prefer outdoor performances; I find the sound levels and wave pressure indoors difficult.
Pubs
Don't mind sitting in any pub where I can actually hear my companions, but noise is not high on my 'favourites' list, nor is being squashed like a sardine.
Clubbing
No clubs - been there, done that - many more things in life to experience.
Newspapers and magazines
I don't read newspapers, but occasionally will buy 'New Scientist'.
Books
I'm an avid reader and own a lot of books - fiction and non-fiction related to my interests, professional and personal aspirations.
TV
I enjoy TV - geographical, scientific and historical documentaries; again, sci-fi, fantasy and horror, occult, crime; humour such as QI, Have I got News for You and Never Mind the Buzzcocks. Other quiz, info and comedy progs.
Watching sport
I don't mind watching any sport, but prefer to be actively engaged in some activity myself.
Playing sport
I enjoy walking, running, cycling, swimming and tennis when the opportunity arises.
Hobbies
The arts, crafts, drawing, computing, family, pets, Christmas, counselling, psychology, philosophy, puzzles, games, quizzes, TM, yoga, tai chi, tantric sex and many more.
