Too much work, not enough play! I'm a workaholic who loves what I do but I'd really like to add more fun and laughs to the mix too. I enjoy all the usual things - pubs, restaurants, cinema or a day around town. I’m fairly fit, a moderate drinker and a non-smoker. I’d like to think that I’m down to earth with a sense of fun - a bit self deprecating perhaps - but independent and stable nevertheless.

What can I say about an ideal partner? People do, or do not, get on for a hundred different reasons... In the end, I am a 'bloke', so I’m superficial enough to value looks, but I think that simply means that someone cares enough to make an effort. More important, however, is intelligence and the absence of emotional hang ups. As far as material things go, I've never worried too much about wealth myself, but I really warm to people who are interested in their job and are keen to progress. I suppose in the end, I'd have to plonk for happiness in scintillating conversation - sometimes fun and light, sometimes a bit deeper - and, though it may be a cliche, a great sense of humour helps no end in this (it honestly does!).
