Positively Mental (40) from Essex

I've been away from this site for a couple of years as I couldn't tolerate being gossiped about. Well, gossip away but at least get the facts right first! :o/ Here's my (and my friends) description of me.
Friendly, caring and honest. (apart from when applying for a job.) Non materialistic, cant deal with nagging, (ok dont faint, its true)lol and can change my own fuses and lightbulbs thank you! I have just discovered I also know how to change my air filter on my car, fill up the screenwash, put oil in, change the wipers AND pump up the tyres! (bet you're impressed now huh lol) I can be stubborn at times but not just for the sake of it! Oh, and i find it almost impossible to accept compliments! (annoying to some people but I can't help it! lol) If you are looking for some supermodel, you may as well move on now! Im not slim nor gorgeous......although i guess im not mahusive or pig rough either! :o)
I'm not a sheep and won't follow the crowd. I have my own opinion which I have discovered isn't always appreciated. I despise liars and people treating me like a mug and I will make up my own mind who I am or am not friends with.
I'm not going to say I like walking hand in hand on the beach or staying at home watching a dvd with a bottle of wine cos i dont! The beach bit is ok but I dont do wine and rarely watch movies. (maybe cos I dont enjoy watching them on my own?)
I'm a single mum with two beautiful girls aged 20 and 12 and I try not to take life too seriously, (although sometimes, there are people out there that make this hard so GRR at them) I like concerts, acting like an idiot with my kids when we go out...(well dont you think they should make wacky warehouses for adults as well?)

Not sure what i'm here for right now! But, if nothing else, definitely interested in making more friends! Can't handle liars, alcoholics or egotists tho. If you have the ability to hold a decent conversation, whether serious or banter, that's great!
Pleeeeeeease dont start the message with "hello babes"....(cringe)
