I have a good sense of humour and often giggle at the silliest of things. I like the normal things in life and agree life is for living, however I've no desire to go jumping out of an aeroplane just to prove to myself I'm alive. I know I am, I have the bills to prove it. I'm kind and loving and very loyal to those closest to me, but there are times when I need to do my own thing, We Aquarians are very independant at times. I love the outdoors, long country walks, nights out or in but not into clubs. I'm very much a live and let live sort of person, we only get one chance at life and constantly telling our partners they can't do this or that only leads to resentment. It's the time you spend together that is important. It's good to have your own interests in life.

I do like travel mostly around Europe but I have ventured further afield. I work nights which makes having a social life a bit difficult at times. I don't smoke and only drink occasionally. I have several dogs who are a large part of my life.I used to keep horses some years ago, although I don't have any now I'm still very interested in them.

I have been through an absolute year of hell so I'm looking for a friend first and foremost and then see what happens.

Its not easy to stereotype the ideal person as we're all different but A good sense of humour is a must, no possessive control freaks either. A non smoker and someone who likes dogs, long country walks, evenings out or a cuddle up on the sofa with a movie and a bottle of wine
