I am fit and active and still in full time employment in a demanding job working away from home in the UK. I have a university degree and work for a large construction company. I have my own home in York where I live alone when not away at work.
I enjoy travel and there are still may places to see before I die. Although old enough and wealthier enough to avoid it, I still enjoy camping, especially in France.
I am easy going, open to suggestions, enjoying new places and people, trying new activities although bungy jumping is off the list, even though I loved rock climbing as a student. My comfort zone is quite expansive but it could always be expanded by the right woman!
My sister recently sent me a text saying "ur young at heart, dont look ur age n can dance". She must know I guess even if she cannot spell!
The short answer is a woman in her 40's or 50s who is in employment and therefore operates in the real world. At our age most of us are heavier than we would like to be and we should all take this into account as I do.
I believe I am well groomed and dress smartly and I prefer a partner to have similar aspirations. I am not vain and would always respond to suggestions to improve my appearance (no Botox though; paralysing my face muscles with a potent toxin is a step too far). Shared values and similar interests oil the wheels of compatability, but we will continue to enjoy separate activites if either of us chooses to.
Suitable first date would be a lunch or midday drink, the second being a walk followed by a meal together if we both wish. Hopefully a close, companionable and intimate realtionship will develop over time.
