I am considerate and caring for other people, kind and honest, youthful, energetic and reasonably intelligent. Am sociable, friendly, open and genuine. I can be a bit impatient, I have strong morals and I like to chat and debate things, am not judgemental and am open minded. My family and friends mean the world to me and Im always happy to help others. Reasonably confident, sometimes quiet, although I have my moments. I appreciate the simple things in life would like to fill my spare time meeting people and travelling more.

I am now self employed gardener, which I enjoy alot

I am single and have no children. I've lived in St Leonards on Sea all my life and am happy here. I used to be a professional snooker player then found gardening and plants more fun. I believe in treating people as I would like to be treated

It would be nice to meet local people to chat with, go for a drink/meal with or maybe a walk.
Happy to try new things really, outside my comfort zone as the saying goes.

I would love to make some new friends, maybe even meet a partner, who knows.

My hobbies and interests

Cooking	Not a great cooking fan, although can manage the basics. Cheese and bacon on toasts my favourite, i like Chinese food and KFC.
Shopping	Shopping is fine, i like wandering around shops quite happy window shopping and buying what i fancy.
DIY	Decorating is good, once i get started , not great at maintenance things a bit scared of DIY to be honest, but can deal with emergencys ok, not keen on volunteering to fix shelfs!!.
Housework	I like it clean and tidy but not keen on regular housework, wait till the mess is there then tidy it up is how i do it. Clean and tidy most of the time though but never spotless!!
Dining out	I didnt used to like it at all but recently ive found it can be good fun, chinese is my favourite, roast duck and chips of course.
Movies	Havent been to the Cinema for ages, would like to go and see a film if its new but not a film fanatic by any means.
Theatre	Hardly ever been to the theatre, not really into history or museums as such, more into the outdoors, gardens and natural places
Music	I like most music except heavy metal, my favourites are still Elton John and Queen, if it sounds nice, im happy to listen to it.
Gigs	One of my pet hates is loud music and loud noisy places so its something i avoid to be honest.
Pubs	Happy to go to the pub for a drink and a chat but not a big drinker
Clubbing	My clubbing days, such as they were are behind me really, again loud noise and bright lights and not being able to hear yourself think or speak to people isnt my idea of fun
Newspapers and magazines	Hardly at all...... the Mirror if i happen to want a quick read at a train station. Sometimes a shares magazine or the odd FHM
Books	I keep trying to get into a book but still not floating my boat so to speak, not a reader really.
TV	I still watch a few programmes like mock the week, Have i got news for you, strictly come dancing, deal or no deal, match of the day, the X factor, used to be a big tele fan but now doesnt seem so much on, maybe an age thing! Not sure
Watching sport	Manchester United are a passion so I watch them on the TV, love the big sporting events and would like to go and see more of them live.
Playing sport	I play a lot of badminton now, still play a bit of snooker, and table tennis, the odd game of golf and tennis and love kicking a ball about
Hobbies	Love visiting gardens, playing sports and games, am quite competetive, like a dabble on the stock market from time to time, love travelling round the country staying with friends, and am addicted to coffee i think!!

My hopes and dreams

In ten years I see myself	Would like to be fit and well with a partner, have lots of friends, a great social life, a secure decent job, and be free to live life, thats all really

If I had to give a speech on a subject I was passionate about ...	friendship
If I could visit anywhere in the world at any time in history	i would love to live in the 1960s and England to see what all the fuss was all about!
