Hi, I'm Sandie, pleased to meet you! I would describe myself as fun, friendly, kind, caring and fairly outgoing. I live and work from home in the High Peak and I like to get out and about in the Peak District as much as possible. I've decided to join MSE to hopefully make more friends with similar interests to me, whome might enjoy meeting up for walks, coffee, cinema/theatre trips, days out, adventure activities, discussions about personal development and positive psychology (I'm a personal coach) and just for fun and good times.

My hobbies and interests

Cooking	Love it! I enjoy making (and eating) Tapas, Fish Dishes, Trying new things (often things I've seen in the Sunday supplements), Breads and Muffins and a good old Sunday Roast
Shopping	I don't shop very often (a couple of times a year) but when I do I like to make a day of it - perhaps go somewhere different, lunch, walk, shops, glass of wine and some saved up pennies so I can treat myself if I see something I can't live without!
DIY	Umm, well I laid my own bathroom tiles and decorated the whole house but then a leaky tap in the kitchen almost got the better of me and drove me bonkers for much longer than I care to admit before I got a plumber in... it only needed a new washer...
Housework	Quite homely but not obsessed about it... 'fairly tidy' will do!
Dining out	I enjoy eating out now and then - I have to admit, I do like fancy food, food I couldn'twouldn't make myself.
Movies	I love going to the cinema when I get the chance.
Theatre	Yup, I enjoy a good play and have seen quite a few of the West End shows - not seen Phantom yet but would like to one day.
Music	I used to be into music more a few years ago - I think my taste is a bit out of date now, perhaps I need some new tunes.... I like the Counting Crows, Ben Harper, Elliot Smith, Jack Johnson, Michael Franti, Kean... definitely need some new tunes...
Gigs	I enjoy going to concerts - I've seen all of the above peeps play over the years apart from Elliot Smith (RIP)...
Pubs	I don't really like going to pubs and bars unless I'm meeting good friends and then it doesn't really matter to me where we are so long as we can talk and hear each other.I like a cosy pub on a winters day if the fires going. I enjoy a cocktail from time to time too... so perhaps I'd say a cocktail bar or a warm cosy pub would suit me best.
Clubbing	When I was at Uni I loved clubbing and dancing but the idea of it just doesn't do it for me anymore...
Newspapers and magazines	The Guardian
Books	I mainly read books on Personal Development but now and then someone will recommend Fiction Book or other interest and I'll give it a go. Currently reading 'The Tipping Point' by Malcome Gladwell - very interesting!
TV	Don't watch much telly but when I do I generally end up watching something like Grand Designs, Master Chef, The Appretice, Dragons Den, Renovating Progs, Family Guy (!) ...
Watching sport	Nope - well, maybe just a little bit of golf or tennis
Playing sport	I've just just started learning to play Golf. I like going to the Driving Range but I'm not ready to cause mayham on a golf course just ey
Hobbies	I think I've covered everything... oh, I like Art and Antiques
