Well, I have been described as a kind, generous, affectionate, good-looking (don't be put off by the serious expression in the photo!), and generally very nice guy! And who am I to disagree with that?! Seriously, though, I reckon that’s all true. I would also add warm, confident, romantic, passionate, caring, home-loving, intelligent, a good conversationalist, and witty, with a fun, sometimes quirky, sense of humour.
I have just moved to Somerset, between Wells and Shepton Mallet, and have my own small but successful business (editing – I won’t bore you with the details unless you ask!). I enjoy the peace and tranquility of the countryside but also very much enjoy the culture and diversity of city life.
I keep myself fit with regular brisk walks and enjoy squash and badminton. I take enjoyment in visiting interesting and beautiful places, whether in the UK or elsewhere, and have fairly normal interests: cinema, eating out, nice old pubs, occasional trips to the theatre, spending quality time with my friends and family, who are all over the place, and bombing off in the car to somewhere different that I haven’t visited before.
“So why on earth are you doing this whole internet dating thing?”, you may ask. Well, good question! Probably the same as you! Seemingly, I’ve got to a point where most of my friends are married and pretty much settled down, and so my social options, or at least the young-free-and-single-potential-going-out-material options, are somewhat limited. Sound familiar? Don’t worry: I have all my own hair and teeth, don’t own a single anorak, and don’t hang around Notre Dame swinging between bells calling for Esmerelda. That said, I do have a hunch…that she’s out there somewhere. Is that you?
And if you’ve got this far through the profile, you’re probably a little more tempted to get in touch – and who could blame you?! I’m a good catch! Essentially, I’m looking for someone normal, warm and nice!
Well, she's warm, easy-going, attractive and enjoyable company, and hasn't ticked the "Someone like Colin Firth / Mr Darcy" or "dark, moody and mysterious" option on their list!
