I am happy and have a sense of humour which I try to tailor appropriately to the occasion. (It doesn't always work, though) I'm Interested in architecture, the arts, environmental issues, dance, jive, jogging, tae kwon do and many more. I enjoy Cornwall for walking, camping and photographing geological formations. Travel to most countries, especially Italy for its people, architecture and countryside.
The first half of my career was in medical science and the second half is in the arts and interior design. In between the two I had an interest in more esoteric subjects and ran a wholefood vegetarian teashop (though not vegetarian now).
I work part time in London and love the energy of the pace of life there, but also need the peace of the rural area where I can be absorbed in my own pursuits.
Friendships play an important part and much of my social life involves them. Some have found partners over the years. I'm getting worried that too many people are offering their seat to me on the tube nowadays and realize that I must be proactive and look for a romantic association for myself.
