I am a decent, honest, 100% faithful man with good morals so if you're fed up of meeting cheats, liars, players, football hooligans, drug takers and drunks then you've come to the right place!!

I enjoy lots of things in life but I really like the countryside, nature, the coast and being outdoors. I see real beauty in nature and I enjoy rugged coastlines with golden coves, walks through flower meadows, scenic views, picnics by cascading rivers and streams, visiting old towns and villages, ancient sites, boating down beautiful rivers, camping by the coast in summer, swimming in the sea and in clear warm summer lakes and walking through woodland and along ancient hedgerows. I love the sound of birdsong, watching wild animals and cooking good healthy food some of which I like to collect from the hedgerow.

I love to laugh but I also love learning about things and I enjoy talking in depth about things occasionally too. There are many subjects which interest me so I do enjoy interesting intellectual conversation. If you’re the type of woman who watches lots of soap orera's and only enjoys small talk or talking about very simple things then I don’t think we’d get on.

In summer I enjoy drifting down miles of scenic river in my solid, stable Canadian canoe or walking for miles upstream along beautiful river banks and then inflating an inflatable portable canoe and slowly drifting all the way back down the river with the flow of the stream to the car park from where I started. Throw in a picnic plus a bottle of chilled wine and that to me is a great day out. Would you enjoy this ? If so then you’re my kind of woman!

It would be great to meet someone who would enjoy occasional relaxing river trips or being rowed out onto a summer lake now and then. Someone who also enjoys walking in the countryside, being close to nature and visiting interesting, scenic, historical and mystical places - of which there are thousands of such places in Britain.

It would be nice to meet a woman who wants to live a healthy lifestyle too. Someone who wants to eat good healthy food and stay in shape with long walks, cycling, swimming or other exercise - ideally someone who does not smoke, take drugs or drink large amounts of alcohol.

I'm not keen on month long cyber chats as I really don't want to spend years emailing and texting someone before meeting. I also find it truly impossible to form an accurate picture of a person via a two dimensional internet page and a couple of old photos without speaking over the phone and meeting up face to face.

I would much prefer to get to know a woman who is willing to chat over the phone and meet up sooner than later. At least we will then know if we fancy each other and feel compatible or not.
